In case you're not a regular viewer of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" or you just missed last night's show, the episode was guest-directed by filmmaker Michel Gondry, who brings us this weekend's big superhero flick THE GREEN HORNET.

The show featured star Seth Rogen, emerging from a giant version of his own face while the nearly incomprehensible director pounds oversized drum-teeth. The host himself contends with black-and-white time-loops and doppelgangers, and an interview is conducted while "driving."

Check out the first part below and the remainder at the show's YouTube channel.

Extra Tidbit: Gondry was the third "Kimmel" guest-director, preceded by Quentin Tarantino and JJ Abrams.

Eternal Sunshine is classic... Be Kind Rewind? ... Eh... Not so good. I remember reading about it on here when it was just a wisp of an idea and thinkin', "Wow that's gonna be awesome." Then I saw the trailer (on here as well) and I thought, "Ghostbusters? Robocop? Driving Miss Daisy? And it takes place in Jersey?! And it's starring Jack Black and Mos Def?! As video store clerks?! That re-enact those movies and make ghetto versions because the tapes got erased?! AND it's directed by Condry?!

And it was one of the biggest upsets for me in cinema history... That was before Kingdom Of The Shit Skull came along.....

I totally agree with you. While the "sweded" movies alone we're fun, the movie had no story to hold them together.

It just seemed that Gondry wanted to do low version remakes of his favorite movies, but only managed to come up with this half-assed excuse of a plot to give them sense storywise...
