The official website for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming World War II drama INGLORIOUS BASTERDS has scalped its way onto the internets and brought with it the recently released trailer and little else. Needless to say, they haven't collected enough scalps to equip a full website but they'll get there soon enough. Why the nonsensical scalp references? Because the film centers on the titular group of elite Nazi hunters who go on a Nazi scalping rampage across Germany during World War II while a plot to eliminate the Fuhrer himself slowly unravels. Click through to check out the site. The Basterds get their scalps on August 21st.
||The name of Til Schweiger's character, Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz, is a homage to famed Mexican actor Hugo Stiglitz. Is there anything in a Tarantino movie that isn't an homage to something?
