Int'l Legend trailer

10.23.2007

All the marketing material for the upcoming Francis Lawrence directed I AM LEGEND, the feature adaptation of the acclaimed Richard Matheson novel of the same name, has so far stressed the fact that Will Smith's Robert Neville character is the last man on Earth and that he's not alone. However, we've yet to see these supposed bloodlusting creatures transformed into monsters by a global plague that presumably share Earth with Neville. That is, until now.

The international trailer the folks at Worst Previews recently got their hands on gives us a good glimpse of these creatures (and at the action featured in the film) and while they're appropriately creepy, they have an eerie resemblance to the crazy automatons of I, ROBOT. Let's just hope the similarities end there. Check out the trailer goodness below. The film opens December 14th.

Extra Tidbit: Why haven't they shown Salli Richardson or Alice Braga, yo? Make with the hotties, already!

Looks Good

This movie looks great, the zombie-cannibal society in the future seems to get done a lot but I really like the look and feel of this one. If the dog dies though that would completely ruin the movie for me and I might just throw a tantrum.

Stop Rehashing trailer music

You would think that for a movie that costs well over 100 million dollars they could get some original trailer music and not rip from the tune used in No Country for Old Men. This is beginning to remind me of LotR:TT ripping Requiem for a Dream music.

Get some originality WB.

Finally we see some vampires! Although, yeah, they do kind of have an "I, Robot" vibe to 'em. But hey, that flick kicked ass, and hopefully this one will, too!

I like how Will SMith's character is scared, and you can see it. Does this make any sense?

Hmm.

The trailer is much of the first one, I would have personally presented it better, but nevertheless I am still anticipated to see it.
