Is this the possible fruit of Disney and Marvel's future?

Ever since Disney acquired Marvel, the hope has been simmering that one day we'll see a collaboration between the two mighty entertainment empires. While nothing is yet officially in the works in terms of melding the talents and resources each team possesses, today's image is something of a hopeful ode to what might one day be.

Entitled "What Are You Building, Stark?" the art comes from 25 year-old Brazilian 3D artist Victor Hugo, and it is indeed impressive.  And cool.  And wondrous.  And really makes me ache for for a Mighty Marvel-Pixar Team-Up.  Oh, and you can click the picture for a much bigger version! Do it.  The detail is fantastic.

Victor Hugo Iron Man

Here's something from Hugo on how the piece came to be: The original idea was to reproduce one of the “Armor Wars” cover, but it looks that I’ve changed a little my mind during the project. This one was a awesome challenge, because I’ve never modeled a car and neither an Iron Man armor (ok, I didn’t modeled exactly the movie armor, but something, ahn… “between”). Another good challenge was to give some tries on 3ds max Hair and Fur – and damn, it is quite impressive! =)

Extra Tidbit: Note: the image was labeled "ironmanpixar," so I'm not just projecting my Marvel/Pixar team-up dreams onto art that appears to be in that style.
