It’s story time in this creepy clip from Jennifer Kent’s The Babadook

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We recently learned that Jennifer Kent's Aussie horror sensation THE BABADOOK will be opening its pages in the U.S. on November 28, and if everything we've seen and heard on this flick so far is true then we're in for a creepy treat. Now we've got a new clip from the film to share with ya, and it includes a little bedtime reading — the kind that'll give ya nightmares. Yeah, I think I'd pass on cracking open that particular book, but I'm certainly looking forward to checking out this film when it hits theaters this November. Check it out below.

…Six years after the death of her husband, Amelia struggles to discipline her “out-of-control” six-year-old Samuel – a son she finds difficult to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called “The Babadook” turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about. And when Amelia begins to see glimpses of the creature herself, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may well be real.

THE BABADOOK was directed by Jennifer Kent and stars Essie Davis, Noah Wiseman, Daniel Henshall, Hayley McElhinney, Barbara West and Ben Winspear. It opens in the US on November 28th.
