Jack Black trains an army for battle in the new trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3

When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travel to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible — learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas. KUNG FU PANDA 3 will hit theaters on January 29, 2016.

A January release for KUNG FU PANDA 3?

Wow. The mighty have fallen indeed. DreamWorks Animation doesn't have a lot going for it these days. THE CROODS 2? HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3? Not a great franchise film lineup.

Oh, I don't know. Both Kung Fu Panda 2 and How To Train Your Dragon 2 both took over 600 million each in the cinema each, I think they are doing alright for themselves, Plus their forays into animated series have worked well. I think they are very solid on a consistency basis.
We have more Madagascar and Puss in Boots on the way. They have original stuff on the horizon as well but what they peddle does work. Sorry to say that I do enjoy it, as does my daughter. Especially Hiccup and Toothless.
