Jack Huston being eyed to lead The Crow remake and make dreams come true

We may have just found a reason to be excited at the prospect of a remake of THE CROW. By now almost every actor with a dark look about them as been attached or rumored to be attached for the lead role, leaving no one to be optimistic that this movie is going to happen any time soon. That is unless the right face comes along, enter Jack Huston!

Deadline reports that Huston is being eyed to lead the movie which recently added music video director Corin Hardy to helm. Relativity Studios is now looking to finally getting this thing moving and in front of cameras as early as this spring. You should recognize Huston from Boardwalk Empire, AMERICAN HUSTLE, and from the news that he will be playing the title role in the new BEN-HUR movie. Taking on the James O’Barr graphic novel adaptation looks like a perfect fit for the rising star.

Talks with Huston are in the very early stages so we can only hope that it ultimately comes together. He’s a great actor and from his less than extensive body of work he has already proven himself to be more than capable of taking on this vengeful character.

How do you feel about this possible casting choice?

Every one seems too forget the Charlton Heston Ben Hur was it self a remake.

That's true, but the original isn't an absolute classic. Same can be said for The Ten Commandments. The original isn't thought of too much these days, but the Charlton one is a classic. Remaking a film which is a massive part of film history seems like a mistake. I really do hope I'm wrong though and it turns out good.

Would definitely be an inspiring and exciting choice for the role.

And as great of an actor Cumberbatch is, I still would have loved to have seen Huston play Doctor Strange.

I agree - killing both him and Charlie Cox's characters, the show kinda went downhill from there.

Actually I consider the 4th season the weakest. He was still in it, but since a lot of other characters had been killed off he was kind of on his own, and it seemed like the writers were struggling to find ways to bring him back into the story with the characters that were still around.

Season 5 was depressingly bad. They had a nice setup going with Rothstein but then they did the time skip

I agree. Richard Harrow was by far the most interesting character in Boardwalk Empire. I did not give a fuck what happened to the rest of the characters after he died.

That show started to slide after they killed Jimmy. Seasons 3, 4 and 5 got progressively worse.
