Jackass star Ryan Dunn dies at the age of 34
Ryan Dunn, one of the stars of the JACKASS movies and TV series, died earlier this morning in a car crash in his home state of Pennsylvania. He was only 34-years-old.
According to early reports, Dunn and a passenger in the vehicle who's name has not yet been released, both died in a one-car crash on Route 322 in West Goshen, Pennsylvania, near where Dunn and friend Bam Margera lived. Dunn reportedly died instantly while the passenger died before rescue crews arrived.
Although he never reached the heights in terms of celebrity that his "Jackass" partners Johnny Knoxville or Steve-O did, Ryan Dunn was probably my favorite of the bunch. There was something about the way he carried himself, that there was no schtick; no act (whereas it seems some of the crew were trying especially hard to be the persona).
Dunn was introduced to the world of "Jackass" through Margera with whom he had filmed the popular underground series CKY ("Camp Kill Yourself"). Dunn and Margera just last year premiered "Bam's World Domination" that served as a travel show of sorts.
