Jake Gyllenhaal is out of Albert Hughes' Motor City

Mar. 8, 2012by: Niki Stephens

Just as soon as we think he's in, Jake Gyllenhaal is now already out of Albert Hughes' MOTOR CITY.

The actor was in talks to take on the lead role of "an ex-Army Ranger named John Miller who is framed for a crime he didnít commit. Now, he is going after the man who framed him and stole his true love."

Gyllenhaal wanted the shooting dates pushed back but Dark Castle was not okay with that. Too bad.

The good thing is that Gary Oldman is still attached to play the villain and Amber Heard is still on for the role of the love interest.

The film is still set to shoot this Spring.

I remember being mad about something, before scrolling down and seeing that Amber Heard pic. I can't remember what I read or why the news made me so angry. ...Oh well... Amber Heard!.. daayuuuummm!

That sucks. Was looking forward to seeing Jake in this.

They should cast Michael Fassbender. He would own it.
