James Bond arrives in some new images and an IMAX poster for Spectre

10.15.2015

Less than a month stands between us and the 4th James Bond film featuring Daniel Craig. Sam Mendes returned the character to his former glory in SKYFALL, and SPECTRE looks to reinstate the organization that was a constant thorn in his side. Boasting one hell of a cast including Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista and Ralph Fiennes, SPECTRE already has the hype machine cranked to 11. If you're looking to get your Bond fix sooner, we have some new images from the film as well as the IMAX poster that completely foregoes subtlety. Enjoy!

SPECTRE will hit theaters on November 6, 2015.

Like i said before, I think Bond is old hat now. There are far better spy movies coming through and I agree with some of the posters below, I have just found this era of Bond rather dull. I actually thought at one point they had turned the game around in Skyfall and then the ripoff Dark Knight and Home alone sequence happened. And this new one just seems its trying to be too clever. With Oberhauser being the architect of who Bond is.

Really!

I'm giving this a green because I am hopefully. Casino Royale wasgreat, Quantum not so much, Skyfall a bit of a redemption. But while I love the more serious action and tone of Craig's Bond, at the same time part of me misses the almost tongue in cheek over the top "fun" that the older movies had. That doesn't mean I don't want to see this, I cannot fucking wait. I just hope they bring the fun back sometime. Oh and also, my first thought at that white skull poster was like...holy shit Baron

Also why has Monica Bellucci not been at the forefront of the publicity for this?

Either she has a small part and/or dies early, or she could be the real villain behind Spectre (Mrs. Blofeld?). I'm just guessing, but I could be wrong. Bellucci isn't exactly a big name here to general audiences, so maybe they don't feel adding her in the trailers will help.

True. I assumed her role wasn't big but usually they like to throw a hot Bond girl into the mix for the ads and there hasn't been much of that.

I agree to a point with rp2011...I haven't felt much excitement about this Bond movie. Casino Royale was the last great Bond movie. Quantum of Solace and Skyfall were good but not great and far from the heights of the franchise. I hate to say it but the Craig years have just been dull. I miss some of the fun of the old movies and Craig is kind of just Bond in name alone, he just doesn't have that Bond presence like his predecessors. I'm still going to see it because it's a Bond movie and

I agree with you too mostly, It's like the producers and writers are not on the same page as the director and actor. They are making a gritty serious film, while the writers and producers are thinking Moonraker. Either go one way or the other, that's why I said it was disorienting.
And I agree that Casino Royal is a fantastic movie. Quantum and Skyfall are Roger Moore 80's Bond without Roger Moore and his camp take on Bond.

I think the franchise is in kind of an odd place right now. It just feels like all the way through the final Brosnan film there was huge excitement with every new film whether the final product was great or not. Plus they were for the most part making them every two years keeping it fresh in people's minds. These days they're doing 3-4 years (I know there were studio troubles) and they think people will get more excited about it but the films are just kind of dull.

And I know I'm in the minority here but I kind of grew up with the Moore films and many people are very divisive about each Bond actor whereas I give credit where it's due for each one. The first few Moore films were really not campy at all, he actually slipped into the role effortlessly in Live & Let Die. And for me Dalton was the most badass Bond but Craig gets credit for doing what Dalton did almost thirty years ago.

Either way, it's a fun series to talk about lol

rp2011 can eat a bowl of dicks, shaken not stirred. This looks fucking gorgeous and slick as hell. Love the poster too, pretty bold for a Bond flick.

After Skyfall, this is the least I've been excited about a Bond movie. There is something disorienting seeing an actor and director take the work seriously while the producers and writers don't. The direction and acting is too good for such stupid movies.
