Jamie Chung to hang with the Hangover crew in sequel

Up until now the only people we knew were in the cast of THE HANGOVER PART II were the people we knew were returning from the first film: Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong and, of course, Mike Tyson. We know that Mel Gibson and Heather Graham won’t be returning so who will fill out the supporting cast (aside from the reported cameo by Liam Neeson)?

The first announced leading role has gone to Jamie Chung, the upcoming star of SUCKER PUNCH and PREMIUM RUSH, who will play the fiancee of Ed Helms in this film. It’s unclear if Chung is a woman that Helms and crew meet on their adventure or will be someone he’s already involved with at the beginning of the movie. (While the gang is headed to Bangkok for the sequel, Chung is actually of Korean descent.)

The movie is currently shooting in Los Angeles and after a short break will head to Thailand for some location shooting. As I’m sure you’ve heard, the next film from Galifianakis and director Todd Phillips, DUE DATE, opens in theaters this Friday.
