First off, there will be some SUICIDE SQUAD spoilers so back away slowly if you've yet to see the film. With rumours of a bit of chaos happening behind-the-scenes of SUICIDE SQUAD during the editing phase, it shouldn't be any surprise that several scenes wound up on the cutting room floor, a move which surprised some of the cast of SUICIDE SQUAD, including Jared Leto.

While speaking with Telestar (via Heroic Hollywood), Leto revealed that there were "a lot of scenes that didn’t make it to the final film, hopefully they will see the light of day. Who knows.” He seemed a little bummed that not all of his performance found its way to the screen, even asking IGN if there were ANY of his scenes which didn't get cut in some fashion.

Were there any that didn’t get cut? I’m asking you, were there any that didn’t get cut? There were so many scenes that got cut from the movie, I couldn’t even start. I think that the Joker… we did a lot of experimentation on the set, we explored a lot. There’s so much that we shot that’s not in the film. If I die anytime soon, it’s probably likely that it’ll surface somewhere. That’s the good news about the death of an actor is all that stuff seems to come out.

Half-way through SUICIDE SQUAD the Joker finds himself involved in a little helicopter crash, after which the character disappears from the film until the end. When asked what he thought had happened to the Joker during that time, Leto said "that’s a good question. I have no idea. I think he probably went and had a drink or something. Stretched – once you get blown up in a helicopter your muscles get a little tight.

SUICIDE SQUAD is now playing in theaters, so make sure to check out reviews from our own Chris Bumbray and Paul Shirey and, as always, let us know what YOU thought of the film!
