Jason Segel wrote Russell Brand a song for Get Him to the Greek

In addition to being a pretty funny guy, Jason Segel is also a pretty talented musician (as evidenced on-stage here and in FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL). He’s been writing his own songs but now looks to be the first time he’s composing music for someone else.

Segel has written a song titled “Bangers, Beans and Mash” for fictional rocker Aldous Snow as played by Russell Brand in GET HIM TO THE GREEK. As Brand has explained, there’s no such thing really as bangers, beans and mash (separately but no one would ever eat them together), nor is it a particularly good sexual euphemism. But maybe that’s precisely the kind of song Aldous Snow would write. Give it a listen below!
