Jeff Bridges was a little underwhelmed after seeing R.I.P.D.
The film ended up bombing then was swept under the rug by THE CONJURING. Was it worth it? Sure the pay is nice but what made Bridges want to do a project like this? Speaking with GQ the actor said while it was a good time and something he thought was worth doing the final product was not a desirable one:
The concept of two guys dying then becoming undead cops fighting other undead baddies who haven't crossed over was a little over the actor's head, I remember when someone pitched me the project, I couldnt quite grasp what they were talking about."
At least he was somewhat optimistic, Its kind of fun when the movies coming out. Its like having a horse in the race. And theyre lining up, and theyre off! And youre rooting for your horse. And in this case, the jockey fell off the horse and you came in last.
What was your opinion of R.I.P.D.? How could it have been done better?
