Jeffrey Tambor says there have been Hellboy 3 talks

Just a few months ago director Guillermo del Toro said he didn’t think HELLBOY 3 was ever going to happen, but according to Jeffrey Tambor (who appeared in both movies as Tom Manning), there have been talks of doing another HELLBOY.

Tambor didn’t go into details, but while appearing on The Colbert Report he did say there have been conversations about HELLBOY 3.

There is actually talk of a ‘Hellboy 3,’ but they better hurry or I’m going to be in a walker.

Guillermo del Toro is currently attached to a ton of projects, and although I’m sure deep down he would love to do HELLBOY 3, who knows if he’ll have the time, or when it might happen. Jeffrey Tambor isn’t getting any younger and neither is Ron Perlman, but last we knew Perlman was still interested in playing Hellboy.

Having a discussion about possibly doing another HELLBOY isn’t the same as an official announcement, but at least HELLBOY 3 isn’t completely dead. I’m hoping Guillermo del Toro will be able to do HELLBOY 3, but if not, maybe he can stay with the film as a producer, and handpick who he wants to replacement him behind the camera. I know it might only be talks, but I still have my fingers crossed HELLBOY 3 will actually happen.

Guillermo del Toro‘s CRIMSON PEAK starring Charlie Hunnam, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain will be in theaters on October 16, 2015, and production on the second season of his FX series The Strain will begin next month.
