THE END OF THE TOUR follows Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg) during his five-day interview with novelist David Foster Wallace, right after the 1996 release of his novel "Infinite Jest". The film itself is based on the memoir later written by Lipsky following Wallace's suicide in 2008, and you can check out the trailer for this intimate affair below.

While some are still unsure about Jesse Eisenberg's place as Lex Luthor in the DC universe, I don't think we can deny that "mumbelcore" pieces like this are his bread and butter. Eisenberg and Segel seem to have good chemistry on-screen, and Segel in particular looks like he's going to give a hell of a natural performance. Curious that they would release this one towards the end of the summer, but perhaps we'll see an expanded release as we get closer to awards season.

THE END OF THE TOUR will hit select theaters on July 31, 2015.
