Genre stars Jewel Shepard (THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD) and R.A. Mihailoff (LEATHERFACE: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE III) are among the cast of director Chip Gubera's film SLASHER.COM, which ITN Distribution has picked up for a 2017 release.
Written by Gubera and Chelsea Andes, SLASHER.COM has the following synopsis:
At a time where online dating could prove fatal, Jack and Kristy decide they're ready to meet in person. Aiming for an adventurous first date, they plan a weekend getaway to the woodlands of rural Missouri. While discovering each other, they soon learn of the terrorizing horrors that the forest has in store.
Shepard and Mihailoff are joined in the cast by Ben Kaplan, Morgan Carter, and Delious Kennedy.
SLASHER.COM has been making the festival rounds for a while now, winning awards for Best Feature and Best Screenplay, and also earning Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor nominations for Shepard and Mihailoff.
Specific details about the ITN home video release have yet to be revealed, but we'll keep you updated on their plans. In the meantime, the film's trailer can be seen below.
