J.K. Simmons got jacked to play Commissioner Gordon in Justice League

Whiplash J.K. Simmons Banner

J.K. Simmons has always been in great shape, especially for someone of his age, but he's been working out with former U.S. Marine and bodybuilder Aaron Williamson in preparation for his role as Commissioner Gordon in THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, and the results are pretty damn impressive. Williamson recently shared several photos (which have since gone viral) of the 61-year-old actor's workouts on his Instagram account, and it's clear that Simmon's take on Gordon is going to be a little different and beefier compared to the previous live-action versions of the character.

I'd compliment Simmons on getting absolutely ripped for the role, but he'd probably just say something like, “There are no two words in the English language more harmful than 'good job'."

Saturday morning, 61 years old & making the young generation jealous. This is what dedication looks like. #JKSimmons
