We decided to try something new with the latest edition of the JOBLO MOVIE SHOW this week, while at the same time, paying homage to one of our favorite movies of all-time and what came out of it was a 22-minute episode dedicated to the 1999 film FIGHT CLUB, directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt, Ed Norton and Helena Bonham Carter. Believe it or not, this year is the film's 10-year anniversary, so what better way to celebrate that (God knows Fox will likely just go for the money-grab and a 10-year anniversary Blu-Ray, if that!) than to create a fan-based tribute to this very awesome movie. The show is filled with a variety of FIGHT CLUB goodies including:

  • The top 5 OH SHIT MOMENTS from the film!

  • A deep/serious analysis of the film's homosexual undertones, overtones and intertones (okay, not that deep or serious)

  • A breakdown of the film's very awesome 2-disc limited edition DVD and easter eggs

  • Never before teasers from the film including the German dub and a Bollywood edition?

  • The world premiere teaser trailer for FIGHT CLUB 2 (granted, we created it....hehehe)

  • Staff members present their own picks for WHO THEY WOULD MOST LIKE TO FIGHT, if they had to fight someone

  • Our own 7 rules of watching FIGHT CLUB!

  • Moreno and his alter ego's unique hosting duties throughout the show

  • Brad Pitt and Ed Norton serenading us with a version of the song "Venus" entitled "Penis"? (see homosexual overtones)

  • Many little known facts about the film sprinkled throughout the episode and more!!!
