You got the touch, you got the power!

Now, whenever I see that scene in Boogie Nights I am going to think of Hiddlestone. Great bit and overall podcast. It is starting to feel like your own with all the personalities meshing together so well. Few things...

Now, whenever I see that scene in Boogie Nights I am going to think of Hiddlestone. Great bit and overall podcast. It is starting to feel like your own with all the personalities meshing together so well. Few things...

1. I consider myself a pretty liberal guy but don't care one bit about what actors, on either side, have to say politically. Did you see the W Magazine video of a bunch of celebrities singing "I Will Survive" in relation to Trump coming in? The guy hasn't even been sworn in yet and I am getting tired of it.

2. The Underworld movies have gotten so bad as they have progressed. The original one is something I really enjoyed when I was back in college and thought it was an interesting spin on the whole Romeo and Juliet Love story dynamic. I am happy the other January franchise, Resident Evil, is coming to a close. Those games are simply incredible story telling and would make great slow burn horror movies. What do you guys think?

3. It always annoys me when entertainment reports are unprepared. I wish I could go on and interview them because all you have to do is ask about what they are working on then find out if they are on anything big coming out and ask about that. Most actors want to talk about projects they are working on, especially if it is something small. You guys ever think about trying to get on the red carpet as part of this broadcast?

4. 2005 was a hell of year for nominees. I actually love Crash but understand why people hate it. You also had capote, Munich, Good Luck and Good Night nominated that year. All great films.

5. Speaking of that... Talks about Deadpool being nominated for anything outside of technical are a bit ridiculous. The fourth wall breaking was fun but it wasn't as original as everyone thought it was. The sexual angle would be interesting. The film's success is a win for Reynolds who deserves it all for working his ass off but best pic or even best screenplay..nah.

6. Yes, every damn movie for a couple of years had a Japanese Martial Artist stunt guy working on it. One I remember was the awful 2001 "The Musketeer," which happened to come out the Friday before 9/11. The time period and the fighting style didn't go together. What those film makers forgot to remember was The Matrix worked because of the story. Yeah, the effects were great but the story was ace. The Musketeer was an awful film all around.
