Gordon and the Whale

Click above to LISTEN NOW!

Rusty Gordon and Chase Whale, from the aptly named Gordon and the Whale.com stop by to drink, tell us about their site, give us some Oscar picks, resent mean people, and basically just wear Moreno and me down with their energy and positive outlooks on everything. Moreno and I discuss WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, BRONSON, Kevin Smith's ass, and why neither of us could get through an Oscar nominated animated film.

Rusty Gordon and Chase Whale join us to discuss Gordon and the Whale.com

We delve into the Too Fat To Fly fiasco

BRONSON is the best film I watched last week. The Academy should be embarrased.

Moreno has a strange little BACK TO THE FUTURE confession. Because Moreno is wierd.

Great show, but damn Jim Law's audio was really low during the segment with the Gordon & The Whale dudes.

Bronson, wow what a film. the actor is Freakin amazing, if you see the special features you see him training, and what a transformation this guy did. BTW saw this movie because suggested by Moreno like 20 podcast ago, and again like 2 ago. Watch it son. I am also down with Kevin Smith, he did a good podcast (not better than joblo movie podcast of course) Pedaso Afuera Mis Amigos

Where the Wild Things are...
Disappointing movie... I agree, I don't think it got the point across. But I disagree about Tony Sopranos performance. His voice work was great in this, no doubt.

Bronson...
Just watched it... fantastic. My friend turned me on to that director's Pusher Trilogy (well, I've only seen the first one so far, but its great check it out). But yeah, this had me thinking about Clockwork in the best way possible. That's a Best Actor performance for sure... I'm doing push-ups after this.

The Road...
That was a disappointing movie. 5 notches above Book of Eli, but still fairly uninteresting. An Education was solid. Saw it at a fest 6 months ago, no clue what it was about, great movie. Might not be your cup of tea but that's a quality flick (story, script, acting... very good).
