JoBlo.com covers the 2010 MTV Movie Awards!

Just when you thought I was gone for good. Well, I couldn’t leave without facing the onslaught of reality TV stars and other bizarre acts alongside my best bud Rusty at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. And this year was loaded with excitement… or maybe not. The truth is, the nominees were mostly TWILIGHT related and of course, Rusty and I were at the very last section of press. This is a long red carpet, and we were left wondering early on if it would strictly be a case of “Where’s Waldo?” I’m not kidding.

Surprisingly enough, we were rescued from our doldrums by Mr. Jake Abel. Jake was up for Best Fight Sequence and while he didn’t win, I was rooting for him. The man is a huge JoBlo and Arrow in the Head fan, and a really awesome guy all around. Thanks for stopping by Jake! We also spoke to a couple of our favorite peeps including Edgar Wright and Todd Phillips. Edgar was getting a face full of sunlight, so I used my hat to help him out, leading to a very up close and personal interview. As for Mr. Phillips, he did us the honor of talking time to come and hang and even put up with a HANGOVER 2 question.

There were a handful of other names that we spoke to, but much like last year, bad placement didn’t help our situation. But still, Rusty and I had a great time as always. Sure it was basically the Twilight awards, but hey, Tom Felton won for Best Villain and he was nice enough to talk GET HIM TO THE GREEK with us. And of course, the shockingly funny Zack Galifianakis was justly rewarded for THE HANGOVER. What were your thoughts on the evening’s events? And seriously, were there any of you rooting for Twilight?
