Joel Edgerton sells his One Night Stand script to New Regency

Joel Edgerton wants to show us his talents.

In addition to being an actor on the rise, Edgerton also dabbles in writing. He must be pretty decent at it if New Regency has picked up his spec script.

The script is titled, ONE NIGHT STAND and is described as, “A drama with comedic elements, the script is described as an honest look at a man and a woman in the aftermath of a one night stand.” Edgerton will executive produce but has not signed on to star.

The actor was last seen in the criminally underrated, WARRIOR alongside Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte. Next up you can see him in THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN and Baz Lurhmann’s adaptation of THE GREAT GATSBY.

I still have yet to see him in the remake/reboot/whatever of THE THING. Was he decent in that? Was that movie even decent? I’ve heard things.
