For awhile I thought that RANGO was going to be some sort of trippy computer animated movie. The first “teaser trailer” had some weirdo wind-up goldfish just floating around. Then when a poster for the film came out, it was a chameleon looking a lot like Hunter S. Thompson.
What the hell was I supposed to think?
The other night I actually saw this new trailer for RANGO after the Christmas episode of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. It actually looks really cute. The chameleon voiced by Johnny Depp comes into this little town and vows to help the people. Instead of it being a psychedelic journey, it’s fun western.
