Jonah Hex rumbles in this new clip

Early word on JONAH HEX wasn’t so hot. Director Jimmy Hayward was replaced in the editing stage by Francis Lawrence, who came in to shoot some additional material. Test screenings said the film was a disaster on par with Will Smith’s ill-fated WILD WILD WEST. But as the finished film began to screen last week in Los Angeles, I’ve heard it’s actually not that terrible. Not that it’s a DISTRICT 9-like Oscar-nominee by any stretch but that it’s not nearly as bad as you’d think. Faint praise indeed but for a movie like JONAH HEX, which was starving for some positive word of mouth, that’s actually welcome.
