Juno Temple gets a part in Disney's Maleficent
Another actress is joining the cast of MALEFICENT.
Juno Temple has signed on to the Disney tale as a naughty little pixie named Thistlewit. Sort of fitting since she kind of already looks like a pixie.
Robert Stromberg is directing the tale which focuses on, "the point of view of the fairy-witch who cursed Aurora to a permanent sleep on her 16th birthday."
"Temple would join Staunton and Manville as the three pixie fairies in the classic fairy tale who are tasked with taking care of Aurora in the cottage in the woods. Temple will play Thistletwit, who -- like the other pixies, Knotgrass and Flittle -- is neglectful and superficial."
Elle Fanning is already attached as Aurora and Sharlto Copley is Stefan, the half-human and half-fairy bastard son of the human king. Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Sam Riley (CONTROL) and Lesley Manville (ANOTHER YEAR) are also in the cast.
The film starts shooting this Summer in London. You can see Temple this July in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
