Justin Timberlake is bringing the sexy back for Bad Teacher

BAD TEACHER has finally found it's leading man in Justin Timberlake.

The film stars Cameron Diaz as a gold-digging seventh-grade teacher with a potty mouth, who after being dumped by her boyfriend goes after a substitute teacher that also happens to be the heir to a watch fortune. Lucy Punch will play a sweet fellow teacher who is dating the sub. Jason Segel recently joined as a gym teacher and John Michael Higgins is set to play the principal. Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet (MODERN FAMILY) are joining the cast as well.

John Krasinski, Joel McHale, Timothy Olyphant, Guy Pearce, Adam Scott and, Cheyenne Jackson (UNITED 93) were in the mix for the leading spot before Timberlake was cast.

The script was penned by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky with Jake Kasdan (ORANGE COUNTY) directing.

Consider me interested in this film. I find it interesting that Timberlake was cast considering he and Diaz used to get it on. That guy gets all the ladies. I have no hatred for Timberlake. He managed to win me over with that drug inducted dance scene he did in SOUTHLAND TALES.

Extra Tidbit: I didn't realize that John Michael Higgins did the voice of Mentok the Mindtaker on HARVEY BIRDMAN: ATTORNEY AT LAW.
