Kellan Lutz has the strength of a God in the second trailer for The Legend of Hercules
There's a saying that if you "don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all" but what am I supposed to do with this trailer for THE LEGEND OF HERCULES?
The second trailer displays a 300 type style sandals epic except the CGI is terribly noticeable and not stylized. My other issue is that every opportunity that Hercules (Kellan Lutz) has to speak he doesn't. This movie is about HERCULES, right? I mean, I'm fairly certain I read that correctly. He gets two lines and a scream. I know Hercules is well known for his strength which is displayed through the trailer but the rest of the cast gets more talk time than Lutz does. He's not a supporting character-- he's the lead! Perhaps I'm nitpicking. I'll just see the damn thing first then rant later if applicable.
"Tonight we fight for our lives!"
In the epic origin story THE LEGEND OF HERCULES, Kellan Lutz stars as the mythical Greek hero - the son of Zeus, a half-god, half-man blessed with extraordinary strength. Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules must use his formidable powers to fight his way back to his rightful kingdom. Through harrowing battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary odyssey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land.
THE LEGEND OF HERCULES hits theaters on January 10th, 2014.
