Kevin Hart to suit up as a hitman in On The Road comedy for Universal

Is it just me, or is Kevin Hart everywhere, these days? This is not a complaint, mind you, I think he's one of the funnier talents to enter the limelight of the past few years. Today, it's been announced that Hart will play a hitman in ON THE ROAD, a forthcoming comedy produced by Will Packer (RIDE ALONG) for Universal.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE's Aeysha Carr will write the movie, which follows a hitman (Hart) whose assignment goes awry when the target isn’t who he expects. Kristen Lowe will oversee production while Hart and Packer will produce courtesy of the comedian's Hartbeat banner.

You can catch Kevin Hart this holiday season when he stars alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan in Jake Kasdan's rebooted JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE coming to theaters on December 20th.
