Kevin Spacey and Zachary Quinto do corporate thriller Margin Call

Kevin Spacey and Zachary Quinto have joined forces and are starring in film titled MARGIN CALL.

The film is a "corporate thriller" that will display the directing debut of J.C. Chandor, who also penned the script. The premise is about eight individuals at a prominent investment bank in a chaotic 24 hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis. Each of the characters are desperately trying to position themselves before the crisis hits.

During Cannes, the film will be shopped around for a distribution deal.

Spacey is currently six seasons into his term as Artistic Director of the Old Vic Theatre in London, and has been working on two films, CASINO JACK & INSEPARABLE produced under his Trigger Street productions. As for Quinto, the young Spock is being circled for the part of George Gershwin in a biopic that was to be Steven Spielberg's next until he decided to do THE WAR HORSE.

Extra Tidbit: Favorite Kevin Spacey role? It's not my favorite, but I really loved him as Bobby Darin in BEYOND THE SEA.
