Lady Gaga may be back for American Horror Story season 7

For a while, it has seemed like Lady Gaga wouldn't be able to return for a role in the seventh season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story. The musician/actress had taken on acting roles in the fifth and sixth seasons, and series creator Ryan Murphy has said that Gaga's season six character will be returning to the show at some point, but apparently her schedule was too busy this summer for her to make it over to the American Horror Story set.

It certainly would make sense if Lady Gaga couldn't fit AHS into her schedule this year, as she's plotting a world tour that kicks off on August 1st while finishing up work on the latest remake of A STAR IS BORN, which she stars in under her real name, Stefani Germanotta. However, a newly released special collector's edition magazine called Gaga, which claims to be "The Ultimate Gagapedia" and comes from the editors of Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, and Pitchfork magazine, says she has made it into season 7 after all.

According to the magazine, "She'll return for an undisclosed role in the election-themed 2017 series set to debut in September."

Of course, there's a chance that the information is incorrect, but if it's accurate this Gaga magazine has given away something that has been kept secret so far.

If Lady Gaga is in, she'll be joining a cast that includes confirmed cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, and Colton Haynes.

Details of the season are being kept under wraps by Murphy, but we do know that it takes place in the aftermath of the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
