Latest trailer for the John Lennon film Nowhere Boy is now online

I hear NOWHERE BOY is a good, solid film that entertains from start to finish, but that a truly GREAT film about The Beatles has yet to be… oh shit! Sorry, Chris Bumbray, I was totally plagiarizing your Sundance review from earlier this year! 😉

But seriously, I hear tell that Aaron Johnson (KICK-ASS) acquits himself fairly well as the young artist, which is great. Films of this nature I feel are made or broken by their lead performances, so I’m still holding out hope. As a huge Beatles fan I can’t wait. Oh, and the trailer’s pretty solid too. Go on and check it out!

NOWHERE BOY opens on October 8th. Head on over to Apple to check it in HD.

Synopsis: Imagine… John Lennon’s childhood. Liverpool 1955: a smart and troubled fifteen year-old is hungry for experience. In a family full of secrets, two incredible women clash over John: Mimi, the buttoned-up Aunt who raised him, and Julia, the prodigal mother. Yearning for a normal family, John escapes into the new and exciting world of rock n’ roll where his fledgling genius finds a kindred spirit in the teenage Paul McCartney. Just as John begins his new life, tragedy strikes. But a resilient young man finds his voice – and an icon explodes into the world.
