Strike Back below!
by: Mike Sampson Dec. 23, 2009

If you're headed to see SHERLOCK HOLMES this Christmas, you'll get an extra little present before the movie. The second trailer for INCEPTION, starring Leo "Why'd You Put Me in the Bath, Gilbert?" DiCaprio, will be in theaters. If you're not headed to see SHERLOCK HOLMES this Christmas, first shame on you because we told you yesterday it's awesome, but you can consider yourself lucky because we have it for you today! Only catch? It's in French, monsieur. But you won't let a petit problème like that get in your way, will you? Of course not. Watch below!

The unauthorized French trailer for INCEPTION was removed at the request of Warner Bros.

Also saw the english version...
in front of sherlock holmes ... should be amazing, but the ad is very confusing story-wise (which is kind of to be expected but still), and blows its visual load a bit too early... but but its already got me chomping at the bit.... can't wait.

Incursion???
Why on earth is the French version of the film called Incursion? An Incursion is entering enemy territory, whereas Inception means the beginning, or creation. What the hell are the French on?

DO NOT even get me started. I live in Ontario and most DVDs/Blu-Rays include a French title and back synopsis as well.

Sure, sometimes the title will get lost in translation, but they totally fuck with the best titles. The Departed becomes "Agents en Trouble". WTF?

diblob, being French I was equally surprised to disover that they had renamed the film Incursion.
However, the trailer mentions "par le réalisateur de LE CHEVALIER NOIR".
In France, TDK was called TDK, but in Canada TDK was called LE CHEVALIER NOIR. Therefore, i am confident this trailer is from French Canada. And you cannot hold the French accountable for this outrage ! I'm 99% co...

However... we have had stupid names in the past. example : Where The Wild Things Are -> Max et les Maximonstres ( Max and the Maxi-Monsters ).

Even if that trailer was in English I'm sure I still wouldn't be able to determine what the hell the plot is

Top Notch Stuff
Can't wait for this film. It's a Nolan film with WB letting him do whatever he wants with 200 million.

How can you not get excited about that lol.
