The most obvious choice is also the most reasonable choice. Why is Pixar taking so long?

it's funny how most of these have "sequels in the works" or sequels that were planned and never happened.

i also, think it's funny that BTLC actually started out as a script/sequel to buckaroo banzai.

Fucking YES

Would kill to see an Incredibles-universe "Dark Avenger"! One of the best superhero movies period.

Breakfast Club 2; Electric Boogaloo??

Are you friggin' serious? The Breakfast Club? Why!!?? What possible good would come from that? When has a sequel to a dramatic comedy ever been a good idea? Annie Hall 2; Kvetch Harder? Steel Magnolias 2; Southern Discomfort? It ended with John Bender's fist raised in triumph. THE END. If any Hughes movie might lend itself to a sequel it was Ferris Bueller.

I say they need to revisit the 80s, specially since we are lacking the bad-ass action movies like Cobra or Commando. Even action comedies like Tango & Cash deserve a second chance for a comeback

I'd love to see all of these movies. The Breakfast Club sequel would kind of be sacrilege without Hughes though.

I'm still scratching my head over having a Cars 2 and not having Incredibles 2.

Not me. Brad Bird has yet to create a story for The Incredibles sequel that satisfies him, and Pixar won't make the movie without him. Cars 2 was developed by John Lassiter, who had an idea immediately after the original Cars, to do a spy theme. Therefore, Cars 2 was made, even though it was poorly received, because the creative force of Pixar, Lassiter, had a story, and The Incredibles 2 was not, because the creative mind on that has been working on other projects. Simple.

I would love this!

Disney and Pixar are fools for not making it!

I disagree: I think The Incredibles is one of the few Pixar films that "belongs" to the writer and director. Sure, it is a Pixar property, but Brad Bird is the brain of the project. He came from outside of Pixar and brought this idea with him, so this is "his baby." Pixar is respecting this fact and consider it Brad Bird's property, so the lack of a sequel is on Brad, not Pixar.
