Top 10 Animated Films of the 21st Century

Gone are the days where Disney had a strangehold on the animated film market. Since the rise of Pixar, rivals at Dreamworks Animation, Blue Sky Studios, and elsewhere have made hundreds of animated movies. Looking just at the last fourteen years, we have seen animated films, CGI and hand-drawn, that have been some of the best of all time. But, which of those movies are the best of their era? Here are my picks for the best animated films since 2000. If your pick didn't make the cut, feel free to add yours in the talk backs below.

Spirit Away, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Up, was this list just last minute put together cause there is no clear description of why better films did not get recognition? Cheaters for putting Pixar films grouped together.

Up is hands down the best family animated feature in decades! A wonderful story from the heart for adults as much as kids. And yet, no mention of it in your #2 spot. Shame shame!
Also, did you guys forget about animated films like Spirited Away and Fantastic Mr. Fox?? You have TinTin on your list which is Motion Capture Animation. Yup, Frozen over Spirited Away and Fantastic Mr. Fox. Really??
1. Up
2. Rango
3. Toy Story 3
4. Spirited Away
5. The Polar Express
6. Fantastic Mr. Fox
7.

Top 15 would've worked better.

I could understand tying 2 films for a particular spot, but putting 4 films at one spot is a bit laughable. Was this a list compiled from multiple people or just you? Just wondering since you said "These are our picks" instead of just saying it's your list, just wondering. But my list would have Lilo and Stitch in the top 5, Finding Nemo would crack the top 10 as would Ponyo. Good list overall, any list is subjective but I mostly dig this list.
For me
1.How to Train your Dragon
2.

Really tough leaving out The Simpsons movie, Frozen, Ice Age, Shrek, The Lego Movie, and Wallace and Gromit, as I love them a lot, but it had to be done.
