Strong list I mostly agree with. Walter Mitty and Man of Steel were the best, and I agree the trailer for MOS was better than the movie ended up being. If you include 2014 films, the teaser for X-Men: Days of Future Past is the best, with scenes from the great cast backed by the score from Sunshine.

Walter Mitty is probably my number 1, followed by Gravity. The trailer for Walter Mitty is such an elating experience. It has all the elements I love in a good trailer: a sense of the story at hand, genuine wonder in what is going on, a sense of imagination, interesting cinematography, and great music. It seems, from early reviews, the film doesn't live up to the trailer, but the trailer itself is fantastic and really did have me thinking that this would be a breakout experience for Stiller. I

I still hope I enjoy the film when I see it and disagree with the critics.

Gravity would have to be my number 1 pick as well.

I'm actually pretty pleased with this list. Last year all the favorite trailers were for blockbusters like Star Trek, but you included a cross-section of very good and effective trailers for large and small alike. And thank you for including The Grand Budapest Hotel, which might just be my favorite on the list. Besides being pure Wes Anderson, I love being able to laugh at Ralph Fiennes, since he's an actor I'm often terrified of.

I'll agree with The_Soloist about Out of the Furnace, very good trailer. If we're including 2014 films as we seem to be, I think that trailer for Edge of Tomorrow was excellent. As for movies released this year, the trailer for Mud would probably be my favorite, very suspenseful without giving away the whole film. And let's not forget the Bad Grampa trailer, that was hilarious. Also those Anchorman 2 teasers where the four characters just all walk toward the camera saying something stupid, that

After following this movie's development and constant actor changes it was great to see the end product from a man who we all know is the master... Mr Alonso

I usually agree with at least 50% of each individual list. I could not disagree with this more. Spider-man is the best trailer this year. Or that new Godzilla. The MoS trailers where terrible, and I though I would hate the movie. Turns out it was my favorite movie this year.

Absolutely my #1

I remember seeing this preview in IMAX 3D and simply being blown away and I wasn't disappointed. This was my top movie of 2013 and the first time 3D was used to enhance a story leaving my jaw firmly planted on the theater floor. Wolf of Wallstreet is my clear second followed by the Man of Steel teaser, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Walter Mitty.

Believe or not, I've had friends who said the trailer made them not want to see the film, as they thought it would just be 90 minutes of Sandra Bullock hyperventilating. I beg to differ; this was great and really made me want to see more.

Wasn't expecting this as the top spot. I don't know if I agree with it or not.

I would have liked to have seen Prisoners, Out of the Furnace, and Pacific Rim on here. Those three films had a really great, effective trailer that pulls you in and doesn't let go.
