Lange was robbed, once again.

While her work in "AHS: Murder House" was astounding, it doesn't begin to compare to the titanic roles she's played in "Asylum" and "Coven", both of which are deserving of every accolade she's received and more.
Though thrilled for DiCaprio, Adams, Blanchett, and Poehler.

All 3 are dramedies. I'd say that the first could be comedies because of how light they are. But MIDNIGHT is definitely a drama.

BEST SHOW IN YEARS! MOSTLY SUPRISES!

-We all knew 12 YEARS A SLAVE was going to win. But at the end of the night, I noticed that it hadnt won anything. GRAVITY was the only Best Movie-Drama nominee that had won in another category, so I thought it was going to win. So I was still surprised when they announce the winner.
-Best Movie Actor-Drama didnt have a real favorite, so the winner was going to be a surprise no matter who it was.
-I thought either Bruce Dern or Oscar Isaac would win Best Movie Actor-Comedy.

-I thought BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR or maybe even THE HUNT would win Best Foreign Film.
-I thought either 12 YEARS or GRAVITY would win Best Score.
-I thought FROZEN would win Best Song.
-I thought Tatiana Maslany would win Best TV Actress-Drama.
-I thought anyone but Andy Samberg would win Best TV Actor-Comedy. When he did, I had a feeling BROOKLYN 99 would win Best TV Series-Comedy. Its a pattern Ive noticed over the years with new shows.
-I thought anyone but Amy Poehler would win Best TV Actress-Comedy (sorry, but she always loses).
-I thought Aaron Paul would win Best Supporting TV Actor.
-I didnt know who would win Best Supporting TV Actress. I just wish Jacqueline Bisset does a better job preparing her speech next time.

Just to clarify, these weren't my personal choices. I was guided by the other awards they've all won.

I'm glad with most of the winners. Yet I have to say, DiCaprio was the only one who could deliver a proper speech.

These are mostly deserved...mostly.

My only real complaint here is Jennifer Lawrence. I know she is a fan favorite (here come the down votes), and a darling in the eyes of the critics, but her performance in "American Hustle" was nothing to cheer.
It was a delivery that teetered between mediocre and over-the-top, made all the more apparent when executed with one of the most inconsistent accents I've seen in recent film.
I'm actually surprised by the fact that more people aren't being vocal about this, considering it is

I completely agree. I'll never understand where all the awards love for JLaw comes from, other than from fans of the Hunger Games. This is exactly what happened last year, she's winning awards for roles that are far inferior to the roles that she was nominated for and lost. Her performance in Winter's Bone is head and shoulders above anything she's done recently and it's a shame that in an attempt to be relevant and please viewers she's sweeping up.

I truly believe that if we didn't know

I truly believe that if we didn't know her as Katniss, she would've never been nominated these last two years... oh well

About time

This is the first year in a long time that im pleased with the out come. Congrats to Breaking Bad for winning. Loved that my future wife Jennifer Lawrence picked up another win. The best moment for me was DiCaprio's win:) now if the man could finally get an Oscar i'll be happy. Good to see McConaughey and Leto win too.

As much as I love Lawrence as an actress and as much as I loved her performance in American Hustle and the film itself, the award should have gone to Lupita.

Hopefully, since she didn't win this, she'll win the Oscar instead.

I adore Lawrence and loved her in American Hustle but Lupita Nyong'O needs to win every award, ever. If she doesn't win the Oscar, I'm starting a riot.

Best Golden Globes show in years. I say that in terms of the pacing, Tina and Amy knocking it out of the park and just well thought out.

American Hustle = 2013's most OVERRATED film!

Great performance by Bale, but this film is a mess in it's storytelling! I REALLY wanted to like this film, and it's gets a respectable **1/2 out of ****. But it's not well directed nor is the story told well. It's not interesting enough for the film's length, it's boring for a 2 hour plus film. And I am not alone, I work in the film business and everyone I know who has seen this film, also agrees it's a complete mess.
First off, it's confusing. There is always a moment in con/hustle films

First off, it's confusing. There is always a moment in con/hustle films where the plan is laid out for the audience as a guide map, "The Sting", "Ocean's Eleven", even "THREE KINGS" has a scene where the plan is simply laid out. By the way, "Three Kings", is Russell's best film and last great film. American Hustle is a cluster when it comes to simply putting out "the setup" to it's audience. Secondly, the overall dialogue of the film is not very strong, except for the "Ice fishing story". Even a film like Pulp Fiction with idiot characters had great dialogue. The dialogue in the dinner scene with Bale, Lawrence, and Renner was not at all interesting. It's boring, and a chore just to sit through it. Then the movie tries to keep it's audience awake with a through back to "Saturday Night Fever". This film lack the pulse that a con/hustle film is suppose to have. A flashy and boring mess of storytelling which even it's style was over the top. You can applaud Bale's excessive weight and bad hair, and the dresses, the hairdos, the accents, the feel of the time period, the music, but this does not make a movie automatically good. With more focus on good style, music, and fashion, it did not focus on good storytelling. Just like Cooper's annoying, lengthy, uncontrollable laugh at mocking Louis C.K., very very over the top. One of the other big problems I had with "American Hustle" is for over an hour of the film's length I had no clue as to which character I was suppose to care about. I assumed it was Bale, but only because he was the lead.

American Hustle's story is so boring for a lengthy 2 hour plus film, and it's especially boring when the dialogue can not carry the stories interest for over half the film's length.
