Lizzy Caplan joins Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Christmas comedy

Director Jonathan Levin (50/50, WARM BODIES) is bringing Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt back together for his currently UNTITLED CHRISTMAS EVE picture. Joining the two will be the Falcon himself, Anthony Mackie. The story centers around a group of friends who have made it a tradition to meet up every year on Christmas Eve in New York City. Joining this gang will be Lizzy Caplan, who also happens to be acting alongside Rogen in his next flick, THE INTERVIEW.

As I much as I love the bromance Seth Rogen has going on in films like PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and THIS IS THE END, the relationship he had with Joe Gordon-Levitt in 50/50 was not only funny and touching, but authentic. For those people expecting another raunchy comedy from him, it caught them off-guard in the best way possible. He wasn't exactly casted against type but it worked in the film's favor. I look forward to Jonathan Levine bringing that kind of heart to his latest picture.

Lizzy Caplan and Seth Rogen's next film, THE INTERVIEW, will be released on Christmas Day.

One of the many reasons I own the first season of True Blood.
