Lost Squad director

Rogue Pictures has set Irish writing/directing team Stephen St. Leger and James Mather (also known by their nickname Saint and Mather) to write and direct their planned adaptation of Chris Kirby’s comic LOST SQUAD. The story follows a group of WWII soldiers assigned to investigate Hitler’s work in the occult. Considering it’s a war movie, you’d think it might look like “Band of Brothers” or SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. You’d be wrong. “It’s not going to look like a ‘Band of Brothers’ or SAVING PRIVATE RYAN,” says producer Daniel Alter (HITMAN). Rogue and the producers are instead looking to make the film more stylized like 300. Considering the insane amount of money 300 made, expect to hear “producers are instead looking to make the film more stylized like 300” a lot more these days. Besides commercial work, St. Leger and Mather gained notoriety for a short film they directed titled “Prey Alone” that made the rounds in Hollywood. LOST SQUAD would be their feature directing debut. No word yet on when filming might begin.
