It looks like the next time Tom Hanks makes a movie that nobody likes but everyone sees, he`ll be doing it on his home soil. Dan Brown has just released the cover art for his upcoming book `` The Lost Symbol`` and based on the imagery, it takes place in the all mighty USofA. The two previous films have already accounted for over $1.23 billion in worldwide box office so it`s no wonder that Columbia Pictures is moving ahead with the third installment. According to Brown’s U.S. editor Jason Kaufman, the story is set in Washington but ``it`s a Washington few will recognize``. I guess by that he means there will be a white president?

Clear the Facts
TaeK....

I want to remind you that Dan Brown started this novel well before National Treasure came out. The folks at Disney did their fair share in stealing (or writing a similar plot line) as the anticipated Dan Brown Novel. That is why it has taken over 5 years for this book to come out.

So when you imply that Dan Brown is ripping off National Treasure, I hope...

Disney sucks because they take a freaking idea, throw it together with no thought, and kill original thought/creativity.

I for one am looking forward to Dan Brown's novel because I am sure it will have its research done throuroughly and will be a well thought out book with plot!

Not really a fan of the cover. I preferred the covers for his two previous books a lot more, but I still will be picking this up.

I think it's cool, but I do hate the big National Treasure vibe that it gives off. But I liked both of the other Langdon books so I will definately pick this one up.

*clap*..................*clap*...

*hands poised for a third clap...which doesn't come*

Sorry, I can't STAND Dan Brown's writing style, although I enjoy his ideas and ambition. (That's why I like the movies - they take what I like and make them into fairly overblown but fairly good flicks.)
