Love Ranch trailer features Helen Mirren and… oh shit! Joe Pesci?!

Shit yeah Joe Pesci! The diminutive badass was last seen in Robert De Niro’s THE GOOD SHEPHERD back in 2006 in a cameo capacity, but he hasn’t been seen in a prominent starring role since LETHAL WEAPON 4, and that was in 1998.

So it’s particularly awesome to see the man back in what looks to be a big role in the film LOVE RANCH opposite Oscar winner and GILF Helen Mirren. A quick look at the trailer and it’ll be quickly apparent that Pesci’s role is almost like a weird parallel universe version of his Nicky Santoro character from CASINO. Hey, if Pesci’s getting mad and punching people, I’m a happy camper.

LOVE RANCH, from director Taylor Hackford (RAY, THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE), opens in theaters on June 30th. Go on and watch the trailer below or head over to Apple to see it in HD.

Synopsis: LOVE RANCH is a bittersweet love story that turns explosive when the players in a romantic triangle lose control and cross the line. Set in the late–1970s, depicting larger than life personalities living on the edge, LOVE RANCH stars Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci as Grace Bontempo and Charlie Bontempo, the husband and wife team who own and run Nevada’s first legalized brothel. Their lives are suddenly altered when Armando Bruza, a husky, world famous heavy weight boxer from South America, played by hot up–and–coming Spanish actor Sergio Peris–Mencheta, is brought to the Ranch to train as part of Charlie’s ever–expanding entrepreneurial empire. Plans quickly go awry when Bruza comes between Grace and Charlie as an unforeseen love triangle develops that erupts into uncontrollable passion and murder.
