Mackenzie Davis joins the cast of Tim Miller’s Terminator reboot in key role

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Those who are anxious to learn more regarding DEADPOOL director Tim Miller's TERMINATOR reboot will be pleased to learn that BLADE RUNNER 2049 actress Mackenzie Davis has recently joined the cast of the film in a role that Variety describes as "the face of the rebooted franchise."

While much about the film is still being kept under wraps by those in charge, we do know that the project was originally written by James Cameron, and that Davis' character will play a key role in shaping the future of the TERMINATOR property going forward.

So, you know what this means, right? It's time to whip the tarp off the old Speculation Machine, and begin cranking that sucker up to eleven with ideas about who Davis will be in the film. Will she play a character who's brand-new to the franchise? Will things be getting "timey whimey" as she portrays a young Sarah Connor? Or, will the HALT AND CATCH FIRE alum come onto the scene as a new kind of Terminator? We'd love to hear your thoughts, so don't be afraid to comment below and share your ideas.

Miller's Terminator reboot, which is poised to ignore any story beats that occurred after the sci-fi classic TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, will also star Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton
