Several movies lately have competing subjects. There’s three SNOW WHITE movies, two Abraham Lincoln movies, and two Marilyn Monroe movies just to name a few.
The topic I’m interested in right now is Marilyn Monroe. Naomi Watts will be playing the starlet in BLONDE while Michelle Williams channels the actress in MY WEEK WITH MARILYN. We haven’t seen much from BLONDE aside from a promo pic of Watts.
Today we get our second peek of Williams as Monroe in this new poster. I’m a little more curious about this film than BLONDE since Williams beat Scarlett Johansson for the part. Then there’s the excellent casting of Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier. Check out the poster below.
