Mark Duplass has begun writing Creep 3

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I don't know about you, but I miss found footage movies. The subgenre has had less and fewer entries over the past few years with one of the last solid entries being Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice's CREEP, and its stellar follow-up CREEP 2. And if you're as big a fan of the CREEP movies as I am, then you'll be excited to hear today that it looks like Duplass and Brice are currently working on the script for the third entry in the series.

Duplass broke the news about CREEP 3 over on Instagram writing:

While we work on writing CREEP 3, please enjoy the world premiere of CREEP 2.5

The video, which you can see below, looks to feature a baby child putting on the infamous Peachfuzz mask and being a little creeper. It's as adorable as it sounds. You can check it out below, and the let us know if you're excited for CREEP 3 below!

CREEP followed

A videographer (Patrick Brice) answering a Craigslist ad is summoned to a remote cabin in the woods by Josef (Mark Duplass), who says he’s dying and wants to leave a video behind for his son. As the day goes on, Josef’s behavior gets stranger, but is he dangerous or merely an oddball?

CREEP 2 followed

A video artist looking for work who drives to a remote house in the forest to meet a man claiming to be a serial killer. But after agreeing to spend the day with him, she soon realizes she made a deadly mistake.

Both CREEP and CREEP 2 were directed by Patrick Brice and starred Mark Duplass. I highly suggest making a double feature of the films if you haven't seen them already. Both are currently streaming on Netflix FYI. Enjoy!
