THOR: RAGNAROK began filming on July 4th, and if the following Instagram post is correct, it looks like Mark Ruffalo's time on-set may be over. This comes as a bit of a surprise seeing as how this film is being touted as kind of a "buddy superhero flick" featuring Thor and Hulk. Perhaps this doesn't account for the entirety of Ruffalo's mo-cap time? Check out the post below from Tessa Thompson (who's playing Valkyrie)!

Sensei Ruffles last day on #Thor3. Don't go. I was just learning how to make creepy face mask + a motion capture suit look cool. @markruffalo

So what are we thinking? Will the rest of Ruffalo's time be in post, seeing as how he should be playing Hulk most of the time, or does his character not feature as much as we're being led to believe? I'm leaning towards the former, but I have no doubts we'll get plenty Hulk goodness when the flick hits next year.

THOR: RAGNAROK will open in theaters on November 3, 2017.

I feel that we won't see The Hulk later on in the film. In The Avengers, Banner goes into hiding, Thor probably finally tracks him down with the help of Heimdall. We did see the Planet Hulk type armour at Comic Con. So I'm guessing that a big throw down will happen at the end of the movie.

Some fans are expecting this film to be "Planet Hulk" but from the start that was kind of shoehorned in to be a small part of it. In fact I think early it was said Thor would meet up with Hulk as that story was ending.
Guessing I'd think Thor gets transported to a planet by Loki to get him out of the way and meets Hulk there. So could happen haflway through or even later.
After all the film is NOT called Thor & Hulk Ragnarok.

Keep in mind they didn't just cite any buddy film, they called it "Midnight Run in space". If you recall, the buddy part of that movie doesn't exactly start immediately. De Niro's character has to track down the guy first

Hard to conclude anything from that. Either he's not in it as much as we thought, or, they're done filming his scenes that require other actors to be present and he has yet to film solo green screen work. Either way, he still could have filmed a lot in this past month.

I'm just happy to see Ruffalo back so soon since Age of Ultron. The wait between seeing Banner/Hulk in the Avenger films is way too long.

Well I don't think we can really take anything away from this. He's been on set for a few weeks now, considering his character is mostly CGI, I'd imagine there's not much left for him to do if he's filmed all of his scenes in a studio.

And even if this is being touted as a buddy-film with Thor and Hulk, that's not say Hulk needs to feature in the film prominently. At the end of the day, this is a Thor film, not Hulk. It's entirely possible that Hulk won't show up until the second half of
