The first full trailer for the Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston starring dramedy MARLEY & ME is online and boy, does it promise some tugging at the heart strings. Surprisingly enough, though, it seems as though it also promises a decent amount of genuine laughs. Based on journalist John Grogan's bestselling autobiographical book of the same name, in it, Wilson and Aniston play Grogan and his wife as they decide to get a dog and end up with the titular hyperactive, extremely disobedient dog. The dog grows on them, though, and they end up loving the shit out of that hyperactive menace. The film opens Christmas Day.

This is a family film before anything else and honestly, the book itself is a very good read. If the screenplay and the direction are as good, then this movie will be also.
