Marvel readies itself to invade Hall H of San Diego Comic Con 2017!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It's official, true believers, Marvel will be returning to Hall H as a very special and coveted part of San Diego Comic Con's 2017 experience! Marvel Entertainment president Kevin Feige let the news slide while participating in a media press tour of the studio’s Burbank headquarters.

Now that Marvel's presence at the nerd-choked convention has been confirmed, it's time to start placing your bets as to which Marvel films and announcements will be teased and shown as a part of this year's celebration. If I had my druthers, I'd wager that Ryan Coogler’s BLACK PANTHER will be clawing its way into Hall H, as well as new footage from Taika Waititi's THOR: RAGNAROK. And maybe, just maybe, we'll get a taste of Marvel's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

We already know that Marvel is currently working on ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, though the chances of us seeing anything beyond an action sequence that features plenty of CGI of Paul Rudd flying around are slim to none, I'd say. Sadly, I'd also count Captain Marvel footage out of the equation, though wouldn't it be a nice surprise if my my most anticipated hero to enter the MCU was there in some capacity? I'd even settle for something as simple as an official image of Brie Larson decked out in Carol Danver's super suit.

Regardless of what is and isn't shown at this year's SDCC, you can bet your sweet Marvel-loving ass that the JoBlo.com crew will be there to bring you the latest and greatest from the time-honored, geektastic gala!

Be sure to catch Marvel's next cinematic adventure, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 when is arrives in theaters on May 5, 2017!
