Masters' 2 Guns

"Brotherhood" creator, Blake Masters will make 2 GUNS for Universal. The film is a combination of every single cop movie ever made in the last thirty years. Here is what THR is saying about it:

"Guns," written by Steven Grant with art by Mat Santolouco, follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who are unwittingly investigating each other and who steal mob money for the good guys. They realize later that the mob actually got them to swipe $50 million from the CIA. The project aims to be a throwback to classic '80s buddy cop movies in the vein of "Lethal Weapon" and "48 HRS.," but with a modern spin.

I think that a cool way to make this more original would be to have it be a DEA agent and an undercover navel intelligence officer. You don't get many movies where the lead is an expert at belly-buttons. Often, I wonder why I am not yet an A-list screenwriter/innovator. Because seriously, I came up with that in like six hours. Seven, tops.
Extra Tidbit: I have never even heard of "Brotherhood" before today. Hence, Sophia Bush.

Let this be a throwback to Lethal Weapon and 48 HRS. I want those adult type action movies back.

The Caffee Bros

Tommy and Mike Caffee are the bomb. Amazing show, too bad it got canceled. And as for Sophia's Bush well that's another matter entirely!

Ditto what Johnnypie said!

Brotherhood is probably one of my favorite TV shows EVER. The acting is just amazing and the writing is beyond brilliant. It's one of those shows with a slow boil, making the payoff just absolutely amazing.

I was sad when it ended this past season, but I'd be hard pressed to think of a series finale I liked more. It was just the perfect way to go out!

Seriously Thoo, you NEED to check out Showtime's "Brotherhood". The first two seasons are on DVD, the third is supposedly coming soon.

Brotherhood is Fantastic

Brotherhood is great. It's Sopranos (Irish) meets the Wire with a mix of the Departed. It stars Jason Isacs and Jason Clarke (soon to be seen this summer in Public Enemies). Former child actor Ethan Embry is also phenomenal in it. Highly Recommended
