While his future resistance leader enjoys the record-setting success of a different franchise, director McG is keeping us apprised on the progress of TERMINATOR SALVATION.

Don't worry -- he's not giving too much away just yet. Basically they're halfway through the shoot, and he discusses the new movie's place in the TERMINATOR timeline and talks a bit about film stock and processing techniques, plus his and star Christian Bale's dedication to serving the story and characters over flash (a definite departure from McG's CHARLIE'S ANGELS past).

He'll also be at Comic Con this week (along with the majority of JoBlo's staff!), and will have something to share with those fans on-site. Meanwhile, see what he has to say RIGHT HERE

I would say Im excited for this because of Christian Bale, but NOT because of his 'performance' in Dark Knight but because of the Machinist, Harsh Times, American Psycho, BATMAN BEGINS, 3:10 to Yuma. Basically everything BUT Dark Knight. He was so lack luster its not even funny. Sorry.



As for this movie, the trailer owned, its got a decent cast, and the action seems to be sweet....

Estaban, you know, Arnold isnt the ONLY terminator. They are machines. They come off an assembly line. They can be made to look like anyone. the T-101 just looked like Arnold. And yes, there WILL be Terminators in this movie.

Yeah, I'm curious about it. Maybe it's going to be nothing more or lesse than a desent SF-ActionMovie.



On the other hand ... it's supposed to be the next Terminator. Ow, wait, right, The Terminator isn't even in this one. :-/ And ow, wait, it's ANOTHER John Connor. (I love Bale, but phu-lease) And ow, wait, it looks more like Transformers, actually.

After his performance in DARK KNIGHT, I could marry Christian Bale. Not really, but I'm definitely extrmely excited to see him portray one of my favorite movie characters ever. I'm stoked for T4
