We may be sharing a lot from the upcoming TOY STORY 3, but that's only because we are very excited about it.

Even though the last poster for the film showed off all the characters, some of them aren't too easy to see.

For example, a little robot toy called Sparks.

Here's a description of the bot:

"Sparks will fly – literally – during electrifying playtimes with your new robot friend Sparks! This retro-inspired toy has flashing red LED eyes and a blaster cavity that actually spits out real sparks when he’s rolled along on his sturdy rubber wheels. Sparks also sports telescoping arms with working pincers, and an elevator action that raises his entire body to new heights. Sparking action completely child-safe. Requires two AA batteries (not included)."

Check out the poster of Sparks as well as a video modeling the character:

Extra Tidbit: "a blaster cavity that actually spits out real sparks"--that may not be too safe for kids, but what do I know? I used to be a bit of a pyro.

Boring and more boring. They should have made a buddy film featuring Woody and Buzz, none of those other stupid toys, and it could have been really witty and funny and endearing...instead they add about a 100 sub-standard "toys" and rip off The Brave Little Toaster's plot. Toy Story 3 could never ever approach the emotional heft of that film.

Nah!
I grew up a little late for the spark-tastic toys, but when I visited my aunt or grandma's house there was a box of old toys from the 50s and 60s including a bunch of stuff that threw off sparks... I have no idea how anybody could hurt themselves or start a fire with it unless deliberately. But of course, kids just can't handle any kind of responsibility so they have to play with padded plastic...

I had a Transformer car that used to shoot sparks. But then some kid took it in the sand pit and it got ruined. I got him back though by taking the moral high ground and telling a teacher...

Does anyone remember Robocop toys. They had the blast caps, in retrospect I bet they were pretty dangerous.
